Through customized, one-on-one training, Career Strategy Consultants works with individuals to build a better career on their strengths, skills and passions.
From the custom-tailored training and career assessments, we will help you discover what you really want from your career, as well as how to enhance the quality and productivity of your current work (and workplace situation).

Our coaches work with individuals face to face, through e-mail and phone conversations – whatever is necessary to help you confidently reach your career goals, and often personal goal to “release the spirit of success.”

Catalytic Career Coaching
Career coaching is an interactive process of exploring work-related issues, leading to effective action. The coach acts as both a catalyst and facilitator of individual, and in turn, organizational development and transformation. Coaches help their clients learn to manage their own careers. This empowers the client to overcome the many obstacles encountered while performing their jobs.

Career coaching helps to provide leadership insights for those engaged in a one-on-one coaching relationship. Leadership is a competency that can be learned to expand your perspective, set the context of a goal, understand the dynamics of human behavior and take the initiative to get to where you want to be.

Effective coaching is about working with people to help them develop their effectiveness with personal and organizational change. Through coaching, our goal is to strengthen the capability of an individual by listening, clarifying, advising, suggesting alternatives and providing different perspectives.

Our Coaching Process
At Career Strategy Consultants, we begin the coaching process by first meeting with all individuals involved. This includes the coaching client, his/her immediate supervisor and anyone else the supervisor feels might have sufficient knowledge or insight into the workings of the client.

Once an initial assessment has been made, the coaching process begins with a Leadership Assessment. The assessment gives feedback in 27 different leadership competencies. The results will provide the coach specific information regarding the client’s strengths and weaknesses in leadership areas. This information will be used to build on the strengths and also to help the client develop in other areas.

The process time varies from client to client, but typically a program has a minimum duration of  three (3) months. During this time, the client will participate in one on one coaching, management training and the support to try new and innovative management techniques.

What is a Career Coach?
A career coach is simply someone who guides others through job and career challenges, helps individuals experience fulfillment in their work, and facilitates the match between employee and job function within a company to optimize his/her contribution and satisfaction.

What is the role of the Coach?
The career coach’s primary role is to serve as a catalyst for transformation and change in the client’s work life. Career coaches serve as a guide to the next step in the individual’s professional development.

In most cases, a company selects a career coach to work with their employees to strengthen and develop the capabilities of an individual. Effective coaching is about working with people to help them develop their effectiveness with personal and organizational change.

How is training accomplished?
All training is done on an individual basis. Based upon a strengths and weaknesses assessment we will provide training to build upon what you already do well and offer solutions and guidance in areas that need further development.
